Purpose of Share Acquisition
Our group has set a long-term vision of contributing to society through the realization of a circular economy.
Through this share acquisition, we will be able to provide integrated processing and services for the entire reverse logistics chain, including final disposal, in addition to our existing waste collection, sorting, incineration, and recycling operations. This will further enable us to contribute to the establishment of a circular society.
Furthermore, through Tōkan Co., Ltd., we are planning the establishment of a controlled final disposal site in Akita Prefecture, with operations scheduled to commence in fiscal year 2030. This disposal site will have a capacity of 3.16 million m3, making it the largest facility in the prefecture.
In operating this disposal site, we will build upon the strong trust relationships we have cultivated with local residents. We will also consider establishing a system for rapid support during disasters, in addition to the final disposal of waste during normal times. We aim to coexist with the community while serving as a local hub that supports the safety and security of the residents' lives.
Moving forward, our group will continue to contribute to the realization of a circular society by balancing sustainable growth with the reduction of environmental impact.
