J:COM, Nomura Real Estate, and Tully's Coffee Japan Establish "Sagami-Ono Station Area Management" to Enhance Regional Attractiveness and Create Vibrancy

JCOM Co., Ltd. (J:COM, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Yoichi Iwaki) has established an arbitrary organization, "Sagami-Ono Station Area Management" (commonly known as "Sagami-Ono Minna no Kyogikai," hereinafter referred to as "the Council"), in April 2026 with the aim of improving the attractiveness and creating vibrancy around Sagami-Ono Station. This was done in collaboration with Nomura Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Daisaku Matsuo) and Tully's Coffee Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President Executive Officer: Shuji Uchiyama). J:COM announced its participation in area management activities in the Sagami-Ono area in November 2024. The goal is to form a continuous axis of vibrancy from the Sagami-Ono Station area to the Ono Cross Plaza and Sagami-Ono Central Park within the Proud Tower Sagami-Ono Cross site. The three companies and local residents have been holding discussions. This Council aims to improve the overall value of the Sagami-Ono Station area by connecting scattered resources such as stations, commercial facilities, and parks in a planar manner and promoting area management in collaboration between public and private sectors and the community. (About the Council's activities: https://onomin.jp/) The first initiative after its establishment will be the "Ono Minna de Festival," an unveiling and "town opening" event to be held across the Sagami-Ono Station area for two days, May 15 (Fri) and 16 (Sat), 2026. This event, where "Ono Min," a common name referring to everyone in Sagami-Ono, takes center stage, is a circuit-type event to rediscover the charm and potential of the town. It will create two special days where people and activities connect, set in the Proud Tower Sagami-Ono Cross Ono Cross Plaza, Corridor Street, Sagami-Ono Central Park, and Sagami Women's University Green Hall and its surroundings.
