Entries are now being accepted for the 7th "Japan Child-Rearing Support Award 2026," organized by the Japan Child-Rearing Support Association (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Katsuhiko Yoshida).

[What is the Japan Child-Rearing Support Award?]

The Japan Child-Rearing Support Association aims to support the creation of many excellent products and services for child-rearing through the "Japan Child-Rearing Support Award."

This award greatly appreciates the "value found useful" by child-rearing mothers and fathers, and even their grandparents.

Mid-July: Awards Ceremony

The 6th "Japan Child-Rearing Support Award 2025" awards ceremony was held in July 2025 at KKR Hotel Tokyo (Otemachi, Tokyo).

Evaluation Areas

Based on the three areas of "Clothing," "Food," and "Living" surrounding child-rearing households, and expanding to four areas of daily use: "General Merchandise," "Goods," "Services/Applications," and "Home Appliances/Automobiles," plus "Municipalities/Projects," a total of 8 areas are covered by the award.

Evaluation Criteria

The evaluation points are based on remarkable characteristics, considerations, or ingenuity in any of the evaluation items (1) through (5) below, and are finally judged by the selection committee to be greatly helpful and attractive to child-rearing households.

(2) Convenience / Reduction of Burden

(3) Child's Growth

(4) Parent-Child Communication

(5) Comfort (Towards realizing a fun parenting life)
