Hatsuhiko Tsuji

Former Saitama Seibu Lions Manager

Born in Saga City, Saga Prefecture, he is 67 years old. Graduated from Saga Higashi High School in Saga Prefecture. After graduating, he joined Nippon Express and then was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 2nd round of the 1983 draft. After a 16-year playing career, he served as a coach for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows from 2000, the Yokohama BayStars (now Yokohama DeNA BayStars) from 2002, and was the infield defense and base-running coach for the first WBC in 2006. He gained coaching experience with the Chunichi Dragons from 2007 to 2011 and from 2014 to 2016, including as a farm team manager. He served as manager of the Saitama Seibu Lions for six years from 2017 to 2022, leading them to consecutive Pacific League championships in 2018 and 2019, and finishing in the top 3 five times. He is currently active as a baseball commentator, analyst, and appears on various media including YouTube. He also visits kindergartens and nursery schools to conduct sports classes to improve children's physical abilities, expanding the scope of his activities.

Yosuke Hiraisi

Former Rakuten Eagles Manager, Baseball Coach, and Commentator

Born April 23, 1980, in Oita Prefecture. He attended the prestigious PL Gakuen High School and was captain in his third year, appearing in the Koshien tournament. He joined the Rakuten Eagles in the 7th round of the 2004 draft. He became manager in 2019 and led the team to the Climax Series before stepping down. He served as a coach for the SoftBank Hawks for two years from 2020, was a hitting coach for the Seibu Lions in 2022, and was appointed head coach for Seibu in 2023. He left the team at the end of 2024.
