Recruitment for Island Travel Cruise Has Started!

The JB Honshi Highway Group will hold the 5th Setouchi Island Travel Festival 2026, which aims to connect the islands of the Seto Inland Sea with learning and the future. The Island Travel Cruise, which will be operated in conjunction with the festival, is a special cruise that allows participants to visit the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and enjoy learning, experiences, and exchanges. Recruitment has started for the cruises to Kagi Island (Okayama Prefecture) and Ushijima Island (Kagawa Prefecture) departing from Yo Island Port on May 23rd (Saturday). The Kagi Island Cruise will visit the island's unique spots, such as the observatory and the old movie theater 'Kou Gekijo', while learning about the island's history and culture. The Ushijima Island Cruise will feature an environmental conservation program where participants can learn about environmental issues while having fun through activities such as beach cleanup. The recruitment period is from now until May 17th, and the participation fee is 5,000 yen per person, including tax.
