Collaboration Between Nishi-Nippon Railroad's muside and KENDRIX Begins

The Japanese Society of Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) will collaborate with the smartphone app "muside" operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President & CEO: Koichi Hayashida; hereinafter referred to as Nishi-Nippon Railroad) to promote KENDRIX for artists/creators.

muside, which primarily supports the live activities of bands and singer-songwriters, and KENDRIX, which primarily supports the proper management of song information, including author information, through blockchain registration of audio files exported from DAW software, will accelerate the realization of KENDRIX's vision of "A world where all music creators can participate in the Creation Ecosystem" by promoting across regions and genres.

Furthermore, a verification project will be conducted to efficiently collect song data used at live houses through muside's setlist creation and publication function, and utilize it as JASRAC's distribution data.

Verification of Distribution Data Collection Effectiveness through muside's Setlist Function Nishi-Nippon Railroad will aim to update the return of compensation to creators through JASRAC by modifying muside's setlist function (enabling registration of JASRAC work codes, etc.) and revising terms of use, and by encouraging performers at live houses to create and provide setlists through muside, a verification project will be conducted.
