VRTX Releases Video Featuring Kubota Spears Funabashi Tokyo Bay Training Methods

Japan Insider, the domestic distributor of VRTX—fitness bands offering next-generation training experiences—announced in June 2025 that it has entered into an official supplier contract with the NTT Japan Rugby League One team, Kubota Spears Funabashi Tokyo Bay. The team is currently utilizing VRTX in their actual training sessions.

In addition, VRTX has released "HOW TO" videos by Mr. Urayama for utilizing the bands more effectively. These videos provide basic instructions as well as examples of applications practiced in competitive settings.

HOW TO Videos Four types of training menus by Mr. Urayama for specific purposes have been released: (1) Rugby Neck & Core Training Menu: 4 exercises covering everything from neck strengthening to core work. (2) Rugby Warm-up Menu: Pre-scrum and line-out preparations practiced by professionals. (3) Rugby Lower Body Training Menu: 4 exercises to increase acceleration and driving force. (4) Rugby Upper Body Training Menu: 3 exercises for shoulders, back, and chest.
