JUNGLIA OKINAWA Celebrates First Anniversary with "Summer Drenched Operation" Program

JAPAN ENTERTAINMENT Inc. (Nago City, Okinawa; CEO Kenji Kato, hereinafter JAPAN ENTERTAINMENT), which operates the theme park "JUNGLIA OKINAWA" located in the Yanbaru region of northern Okinawa, will significantly expand its "drenching wet experience" to fully enjoy the Okinawan summer as part of its first-anniversary program. Starting July 18, 2026 (Sat), the "Summer Drenched Operation" will launch with a series of water-based entertainment attractions appearing throughout the park, delivering a cool and refreshing summer where you can get completely soaked. Alongside the large-scale heat countermeasures program already announced, this summer at JUNGLIA will be about blowing away the heat and delivering experiences that are only fun in the summer.

With the keyword "With the people of Okinawa, to the next JUNGLIA," JUNGLIA OKINAWA is celebrating its first anniversary. We sincerely accept the real requests and opinions received from our guests and will continue to evolve into a more beloved park. We plan to sequentially deliver a variety of new experiences that will surprise you, as well as collaborations with local businesses that deeply convey the charm of Okinawa.

Cool down and liven up JUNGLIA's summer! The new "drenching wet experience" where getting wet is a win!

JUNGLIA OKINAWA's first summer anniversary will significantly expand the scale of its drenching wet experiences in response to many requests for "wanting to spend the Okinawan summer more coolly" and "wanting some wild excitement unique to summer." In addition to the currently running "JUNGLIA Splash Fest" and the "Cool Down Water Party" show that debuted in April, four new experiences will be available for a limited time from July 18 (Sat) to October 12 (Mon, holiday). Get ready for a summer at JUNGLIA where you'll be drenched and refreshed everywhere, and it's so fun to watch that you'll laugh – getting wet is a win!

◆ Water Rangers

A drenching wet experience unfolds throughout the park! Members of the "Special Cooling Unit," equipped with special gadgets, will greet guests. As a greeting, they will mercilessly unleash powerful water splashes from water shooters, "cooling" guests and their hot bodies. This entertainment pushes the switch to an extraordinary experience, making you think, "It's a waste not to get wet when you come to JUNGLIA!" and instantly pulls you into an ultra-exciting summer mode.

◆ Squall Dance

An original dance entertainment that celebrates "water," the blessing of nature, which begins when the music plays. As performers and guests dance together to the rhythm, giant water pillars shoot high into the sky. Water splashes spread before your eyes, allowing you to enjoy the refreshing sensation reminiscent of a tropical squall. It's a special stage where everyone can smile, whether you're excited from dancing or laughing at guests enveloped in the intense water splashes.

◆ Mist Area

A healing oasis where you can feel a pleasant coolness with all five senses, distinct from the intense drenching wet experiences. Around the banyan tree in front of the Wild Banquet, an area will appear where ultra-fine, high-density mist hovers, reminiscent of the morning mist in the ancient Yanbaru forest. This cool white mist gently envelops your flushed body, allowing you to relax and refresh while feeling the tranquility of nature. It offers a luxurious cool-down experience for comfortably exploring the park.

◆ Water Shooter Target

A fun and casual experience spot where you aim and shoot water at playful, colorful targets with water shooters. When you hit the target, it makes a sound, making you want to try again. It's a perfect water activity for the summer, allowing adults and children to cool down and challenge themselves during a break from exploring the park.

Enjoy JUNGLIA OKINAWA this summer! Two major drenching wet shows held daily

As a unique summer enjoyment at a theme park, various water-based shows that are visually cool will welcome guests. JUNGLIA OKINAWA will hold two major drenching wet shows daily where entertainers and guests can get excited together.

Cool Down Water Party (Photo left) A refreshing and exciting party where you get completely drenched in water, dancing to lively music with water cannons, water guns, and even buckets! Finally, you can go up on stage and have a blast with the entertainers.

JUNGLIA Splash Fest (Photo right) The park's largest show, held at the large show venue "Breeze Arena." It's a super-exciting festival that starts with Okinawan beats. The refreshing water splashes flying in the blue sky remain, and it has been further upgraded to enjoy Okinawan culture through music and dance.

JUNGLIA OKINAWA's Approach and Initiatives for "Heat Countermeasures"

JUNGLIA OKINAWA is continuously introducing and systematically deploying heat countermeasures, including investments of several hundred million yen, with the aim of "allowing guests to enjoy the park comfortably, especially in the summer." New resting spaces (264 seats) have been added to "Breeze Arena," and shaded seating (144 seats) is available at "Wild Banquet" to expand areas where guests can avoid direct sunlight. Furthermore, "large mist fans" are deployed in various locations, and "benches & parasols" have been increased by approximately 40% compared to last year, expanding the creation of spaces where guests can relax and spend time in the park.

In response to guest requests to "make the entire vast park exciting with experiences, not just attractions," three new content pieces will appear to make the first-anniversary celebration the best ever. We introduce new ways to enjoy JUNGLIA, where smiles will bloom with every step you take through the park.

1 Let's celebrate together! First Anniversary "Minsah Bracelet"

A special limited-edition bracelet (paper) given to visitors on the first anniversary. This bracelet, which changes color daily, features Okinawa's traditional "Minsah pattern." The Minsah pattern carries the wish "forever, from generation to generation." It embodies our deep gratitude and wish to be a place where the connections with all the guests we have met continue forever, making them want to "come again" and "meet again." Enjoy JUNGLIA's first anniversary together by wearing the same bracelet as your family and friends who visited!

2 Adventure with chatty Jan! "Yanbaru Friends Jan's Talking Quiz Rally"

A rally experience perfect for families, where you search for hidden Yanbaru Friends companions in the park with Jan, the Okinawa rail.

Set off to the park with your partner, the plush toy "Jan"! When you hold Jan up to the panels of friends at each spot... Jan will talk and give you quizzes! Challenge seven quizzes while exploring the park, and when you complete the derived phrase, you'll receive an original prize. You can enjoy exploring at your child's pace in the great outdoors.

3 You'll want to take pictures! First Anniversary "Photo Spots" appear throughout the park!

First-anniversary photo spots will appear in various locations to make walking through the vast park even more enjoyable! Around the "Yanbaru Friends" area, there are plenty of cute footprints left by "Jan" running around energetically! On the other hand, step into the "Dinosaur Safari" area, and you can take photos with giant dinosaur footprints about 2.5 meters long for a powerful shot. Near "Wild Banquet," a colorful giant wall art that captures the charm of JUNGLIA will appear (photo on the right). Preserve your best memories with family and friends with special photos.

"Better with everyone's voices. With the people of Okinawa, to the next JUNGLIA." JUNGLIA OKINAWA's first anniversary will be created together with the local community of Okinawa.

Celebrating its first anniversary, JUNGLIA OKINAWA will evolve into a park that is more rooted in Okinawa and changes based on the voices of its guests. We will continue to announce various programs filled with surprise and excitement.

Gorii-san from the popular Okinawan talent duo "Garage Sale" has been appointed "Cheering Director Gorii." He will act as an important partner, looking at and listening to the park from the perspective of guests and locals, asking if the heat countermeasures are sufficient, if it's easy to spend time with children, and if the experiences are truly Okinawan, and will liven things up without any忖度 (consideration for others' feelings).
