JUNGLIA OKINAWA 2026 Heat Countermeasures Phase 2: Making the Park More Comfortable with New Large Rest Areas for Cool Dining in the Shade

Japan Entertainment Inc. (Nago City, Okinawa: Representative Director and CEO Takeshi Kato, hereinafter referred to as Japan Entertainment), which operates "JUNGLIA OKINAWA," will sequentially introduce heat countermeasures involving investments in the hundreds of millions of yen, aiming for guests to comfortably enjoy the park precisely because it is summer.

JUNGLIA OKINAWA is designed with many outdoor spaces to allow guests to fully enjoy nature, and we have received requests from guests to enhance shaded and resting areas. To improve the comfortable park experience for guests and additionally to create a better working environment for navigators (employees), we are expanding our heat countermeasures for this summer. Starting with the first phase of creating a comfortable experience in collaboration with Kao's "Biore," we will actively invest in the second phase, such as building a new large roofed rest area and significantly expanding the number of large mist fans (cold air blowers) that send cool air over a wide area.

Furthermore, we have recently launched a new collaboration program, the "JUNGLIA Cooling Partner 2026." Together with 14 companies who endorsed the idea of "making the summer that can only be experienced in Okinawa the best experience," we will work on creating a park environment where guests can fully enjoy the Okinawan summer.

Also, as a way to enjoy summer unique to a theme park, shows using large amounts of water perfect for summer, such as the "Junglia Splash Fest" and the "Cool Down Water Party," will be powered up to welcome you, allowing you to enjoy them with your whole body while getting soaked. We will also prepare cold drinks using Okinawan ingredients and heat countermeasure goods, proposing ways to enjoy JUNGLIA OKINAWA unique to summer.

■ Outline of Phase 2 "JUNGLIA OKINAWA Heat Countermeasures 2026"
Okinawa Prefecture generally tends to have a hot image, but regarding temperatures even in summer (June to August), let alone days of severe heat, there are hardly any days of extreme heat exceeding 35℃. On the other hand, there are specific summer climate characteristics unique to a tropical island, such as strong sunlight and high humidity. To create a comfortable park experience for guests, JUNGLIA OKINAWA will implement the following heat countermeasures based on these characteristics of Okinawa.

A new rest area where about 260 people can have lunch simultaneously opens at "Breeze Arena"
We are newly establishing a large shaded rest space with 264 seats behind the "Breeze Arena," which is a large show venue. This space will be equipped with large mist fans to create a cool environment. Guests are free to drop by and use it, and group guests can gather together to use it as a resting place or dining area.
JUNGLIA OKINAWA has received many group guests, such as school excursions and company trips, for some time. Amidst inquiries for group travel, we received many comments saying, "If there is a dining space that can be used by groups, it will be easier to choose Junglia as a travel destination." We have now established this space in response to those voices, completing our system to welcome many group guests. Also, when used by groups, we plan to offer special lunch boxes.

The outdoor restaurant "Wild Banquet" will offer about 140 shaded seats where you can enjoy meals while basking in a cool breeze in the shade
We will establish a new dining space with 144 seats equipped with shades in the center of the "Wild Banquet." Shades are installed above the seats, providing protection from the sun, and large mist fans (strong cold air blowers) are deployed around them, allowing you to enjoy food and drinks made with Okinawan ingredients while staying cool. Also, at the "Wild Banquet," the "Wild Beat" show, which features engaging live music, is held every day. You can enjoy the powerful show unique to Junglia while participating between meals or even while eating.

Making waiting times more comfortable. Deploying 10 new powerful cold air blowers "Large Mist Fans" in major areas
We will install new large mist fans in attraction waiting lines and large-scale rest areas. Through the vaporization heat from the powerful fans and fine mist, they will deliver a cool breeze over a wide area up to about 30 meters away. We are also installing tarps (sunshades) in the waiting area for the new large ride attraction "Yanbaru Tornado," which opens on Thursday, April 29 (national holiday). We will improve and strengthen the comfort of guests' waiting times and stay spaces.
