Japan Benex Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Yohei Kobayashi; hereinafter "Japan Benex") has installed an approximately 4.2MW solar power plant, "Benex Zama Solar Port" (hereinafter "this power plant"), on the rooftop of "Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park Zama" (hereinafter "MFLP Zama"), a logistics facility primarily developed by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shun Ueda) in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and has now commenced its operation. With the operation of this power plant, Japan Benex's owned FIP solar power plants have reached 60MW.
"Benex Zama Solar Port"
This power plant is a 4,192.3kW solar power plant constructed by installing 7,046 solar modules on the rooftop of "MFLP Zama." The electricity generated will first be consumed within the facility (on-site PPA), and any surplus electricity will be sold externally utilizing the FIP scheme (surplus FIP sales).
The annual power generation is estimated to be approximately 4.31 million kWh, equivalent to the electricity consumption of about 1,436 average households.
