Premium Water Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akinori Kanemoto; hereinafter "Premium Water") and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Mitiko Tottori; hereinafter "JAL") will jointly launch 'JAL Water,' a water server service that allows JAL Mileage Bank members (hereinafter "JMB members") to earn JAL miles, starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026. This new service offers unique benefits from JAL, enabling members to accumulate miles and Life Status points through monthly water server usage.
About Premium Water
Premium Water provides a service that rents or sells water servers and delivers drinking water directly to customers' homes on a regular subscription basis. It eliminates the need to carry heavy water bottles from stores or boil water, allowing users to enjoy delicious "raw natural water" anytime.
Premium Water's "raw natural water" undergoes a "non-heated process," preserving dissolved oxygen—a key indicator of water quality and taste—ensuring customers can enjoy the smooth, naturally pleasant mouthfeel of genuine natural water. With a shelf life of approximately six months from production (unopened), this water is also suitable for rolling stock storage, enabling consumption while maintaining emergency preparedness.
1. Benefits
JAL Water offers attractive, JAL-exclusive benefits to subscribers:
① Earn miles based on contract terms
New subscribers can earn up to 14,000 miles, and up to 300 miles per month through continued usage.
② Earn Life Status Points
Subscribers earn 1 Life Status Point every month, regardless of the server model they contract.
2. JAL Water Service Options
JAL Water offers both purified and natural water server types, allowing customers to choose based on their home space and water usage preferences, aligning with individual lifestyles.
Note: Monthly mileage for natural water server users will not be accumulated in months when no water delivery is received. Note: Pricing for the natural water server is based on ordering one set (2 bottles of 12L) per month. Note: For the AURA Water Server, the price includes water (¥4,190) and a monthly server rental fee (¥220).
3. Service Launch Date
Applications will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
4. Service Launch Campaign
As a commemorative campaign for the launch of JAL Water, new subscribers who complete server installation by August 31, 2026, will receive an additional 2,000 miles on top of the standard sign-up mileage, during the campaign period ending August 31, 2026.
Campaign Period: July 1, 2026 (Wednesday) to August 31, 2026 (Monday), 23:59
Eligibility: Customers who apply for JAL Water during the campaign period and complete server installation by the end of August.
