Japan Airlines (JAL) and NTT Docomo have announced the launch of 'JAL Mobile powered by ahamo,' a new service under JAL's 'JAL Mobile' brand, utilizing Docomo's 'ahamo' rate plan. The service will be available starting Thursday, June 25, 2026.

### Background of the Service
Since its launch in April 2025, JAL Mobile has gained popularity for its mileage integration and travel benefits, such as the 'Where to Miles' service, which allows domestic award tickets to be redeemed at a 78% discount. In response to customer requests for better carrier-grade connectivity and seamless international data roaming, the two companies partnered to develop this service.

### Service Overview
This plan keeps the standard ahamo pricing structure while adding exclusive JAL benefits. It is available by signing up for the 'JAL Mobile Option.'

#### 1. Communication Services
- Monthly Fee: 2,970 yen
- Data Allowance: 30GB (up to 1Mbps after limit)
- International Data: Included at no extra cost (available in 91 countries/regions)
- Voice Calls: Domestic calls within 5 minutes are free

#### 2. Exclusive JAL Benefits
- 'Where to Miles' Coupon: One redemption per year for 1,500 miles (usually 7,000 miles)
- Sign-up/MNP Bonus: 1,000 miles for new sign-ups, 5,000 miles for MNP
- Monthly Loyalty Miles: 125 miles credited monthly
- Flight Bonus Miles: Earn 50 miles for domestic flights and 100 miles for international flights
- Life Status Points: 1 LSP credited monthly

### Launch Campaign
Starting from the launch date, the following incentives will be available for new sign-ups and MNP transfers:
1. Mileage Bonus: 1,000 miles (new) or 5,000 miles (MNP) credited.
2. Fee Waiver: The JAL Mobile Option application fee (normally 2,200 yen) is waived.
