(Joint Release) Noto Town, the University of Tokyo, and JAL Sign a Partnership Agreement for Next-Generation Human Resource Development

On May 14, 2026, Noto Town in Ishikawa Prefecture, the University of Tokyo, and Japan Airlines (JAL) signed a partnership agreement aimed at creative reconstruction and developing future talent. Starting in June 2026, the three parties will launch an inquiry-based learning program for students and employees to learn together. The program focuses on understanding the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, tackling current regional challenges in Noto three years after its earthquake, and preparing for future disasters. This initiative aims to foster individuals who can proactively think and act for the future of Japan's local communities.
