The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) Tokyo Branch (Branch Manager: Kazuo Kato) will hold the 3rd "Let's Eliminate Traffic Accidents Together!" Poster Contest for elementary school students residing in or attending school in Tokyo, from July 1, 2026 (Wed) to September 30, 2026 (Wed).

This contest aims to foster an understanding of traffic rules and the acquisition of appropriate traffic behavior among elementary school students by having them create posters on the theme of "accident prevention" during the summer vacation period when opportunities to go out increase. Furthermore, it aims to improve traffic safety awareness in the community.

In the 2nd poster contest held last year, 231 entries were received, approximately three times the number of entries in the 1st contest. This year, the number of supporting organizations has increased by three to 14, showing a widening circle of traffic safety.

This year as well, all applicants who meet the entry requirements will receive JAF original merchandise. Winners will be presented with luxurious prizes and, as a new initiative, will be appointed as "JAF Children's Traffic Safety Leaders" who will take the initiative in observing traffic rules and conveying the importance of these rules to those around them. The term of office will be one year, and those who wish to do so will be asked to cooperate in JAF-hosted traffic safety stages. (The timing and location of these stages will be announced individually to the winners).
