JAF Obihiro to Hold 'Traffic Safety Festival' in Collaboration with Obihiro Driving School

The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) Obihiro Branch (Naoki Ishihara, Branch Manager) will participate in the 'Obiji x JAF Obihiro Traffic Safety Festival,' to be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Obihiro Driving School (Obihiro City, Hokkaido).

Organized by Obihiro Driving School Co., Ltd. and JAF, this event aims to promote traffic safety through numerous programs in cooperation with related organizations.

JAF Programs: - Issuance of Child Safety Licenses (First 200 participants) - Tow Truck Exhibition - Tire inspection demonstration by JAF (Reservation required; bookings closed)

Other Programs: - Traffic safety quiz rally (prizes for perfect scores via lottery) - 'Working Vehicles' collection (including tow trucks, training cars, fire trucks, patrol cars) - Gourmet corner (food trucks) - Mobile footbath (cooperation: Fukui Hotel) - Kids' car paint event (cooperation: Smile Cars Asahikawa)

Due to expected congestion, the entrance to the parking lot is limited to the north gate of Obihiro Driving School. Overflow parking is available near Hokuto Hospital or Hokuto Clinic, with a free shuttle bus service.
