JAF Shizuoka Supports '2026 Auto Test in Tsumagoi Resort Sai no Sato' to Promote Motorsports

The Shizuoka Branch of the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) (Director: Takehisa Onoda) announced its cooperation in hosting the 'Auto Test in Tsumagoi Resort Sai no Sato' on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The event, organized by JAF affiliate club Team MI, will take place at the South 1st Parking Lot of Tsumagoi Resort Sai no Sato in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Auto Test: The Perfect Introduction to Motorsports

Compared to other JAF-sanctioned motorsports, Auto Test is strictly regulated to ensure driving speeds do not reach high levels. Consequently, no competitive license, helmet, gloves, or special vehicle modifications are required. Participants can enter using their everyday street cars just as they are.

Furthermore, participants who successfully complete the event are eligible to apply for a Domestic B License.

JAF Shizuoka Branch will assist in the event through venue preparation and participant recruitment.

What is a Domestic B License?

This is a competitive license that allows participation in JAF-sanctioned events such as rallies and speed competitions (Gymkhana, Dirt Trial, Circuit Trial, Hill Climb, Drag Race, Rallycross, Autocross, Drift, etc.).
