JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) Nagano Branch (Branch Manager: Shinichi Utsunomiya) will hold an event on Saturday, May 23rd, at Aeon Mall Sakudaira Chuo-1 parking lot (11-10 Sakudaira Station Minami, Saku City, Nagano Prefecture), focusing on traffic safety, crime prevention, and disaster preparedness.
This event is designed to be enjoyable and educational for all ages, from children to adults, in collaboration with local cooperative organizations and companies within the prefecture.
When a similar 'working vehicles' event was held at Aeon Minamimatsumoto Store on Sunday, May 4, 2025, approximately 600 people participated, and it was very well received. This time, the venue has changed, and the event will be held at Aeon Mall Sakudaira.
Upgraded from the previous event! The number of exhibition vehicles has increased, occupational experiences are available at each booth, and JAF app coupons are now usable for a limited time.
There will be 11 cooperating organizations (7 last year), and 16 working vehicles (7 last year) are planned for display.
Each exhibition will offer ride experiences and occupational experiences from the participating organizations, providing an opportunity to learn about vehicles and work while having fun.
JAF Exhibition Content (Free Participation)
JAF will present the following popular content for free.
■ Child Road Service Test
This is a hands-on booth where children can try changing a tire, pretending to be a JAF roadside service member.
*Participation is limited.
■ Seatbelt Convincer
You can experience the importance of seatbelts through a simulated collision at approximately 5km/h.
■ Child Safety Driver's License
A 'child safety driver's license' that looks just like a real driver's license will be created on the spot.
You can take home a license with a photo taken at the venue.
Stamp Rally & Limited Novelty
A smartphone-based stamp rally, open to anyone, will be held at the event venue on the day.
You can collect stamps by scanning QR codes set up at each booth. Those who collect 6 or more stamps will receive a special original can badge from the JAF Nagano Branch.
JAF Member Exclusive: Special JAF App Coupons
JAF app coupons, usable at 9 shops within Aeon Mall Sakudaira, will be distributed from the event day until June 30th (JAF members only).
JAF members who have downloaded the JAF smartphone app can enjoy shopping at the tenants at a discount, not just at the event.
