The previous event, "Wagashi Tour Walking in Shimada City," held in the Shimada City Honcho area on Saturday, June 14, 2025, saw a large participation of 65 groups and 139 people. Participants highly praised it as a walking event where they could experience Shimada City's history and culture, not just Japanese sweets, with comments like "I was happy to enjoy Japanese sweets from various shops" and "I enjoyed not only Japanese sweets but also historical sites and museums along the course."
This time, we have set a course that visits delicious Japanese sweets shops in the Kawane area of Shimada City.
