JAF Smartphone App and My Page to be Renewed on May 20 for Smoother Roadside Service Requests and Member Benefits

JAF (Japan Automobile Federation, President Masayoshi Sakaguchi) will renew its "JAF Smartphone App" (hereinafter "JAF App") and "JAF My Page" on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, to create an environment where members can use various services more smoothly.

Overview of the Renewal

(1) Purpose

The renewal aims to improve the convenience and visibility of the "JAF App," which serves as the main point of contact with members, and the member-exclusive website "JAF My Page."

This renewal will review the design and functions of the "JAF App" and "JAF My Page," providing an environment where emergency roadside assistance requests, daily use of member benefits, and various administrative procedures can be carried out more smoothly.

What is the JAF App?

The JAF App has surpassed 7.7 million cumulative downloads as of the end of March 2026 and is used by many users.

While maintaining the functions of the conventional JAF App, the design will be refreshed to make the app even more user-friendly.

【Three main functions of the JAF App】

① Digital Membership Card Function

Members can display their membership card on their smartphone anytime without carrying the physical JAF membership card.

② Roadside Assistance Request Function

In case of trouble, roadside assistance can be requested via the app.

Pre-registration of vehicle information allows for smoother rescue requests.

③ Member Benefits and Coupon Function

In addition to searching for approximately 44,000 member benefit facilities, app coupons are also distributed, making it useful for daily life and leisure.
