[JAF Iwate] JAF Booth to be Featured at 'Iwate Career Experience Festival in APPI' During Golden Week

The Iwate Branch of the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) (Director: Yasushi Chiba) will participate in the 'Iwate Career Experience Festival in APPI' (organized by TV Iwate Co., Ltd.), held at Appi Kogen from May 3 (Sunday) to May 4 (Monday/Holiday), 2026.

This festival, located in Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture, is an event for elementary school students and younger children to experience various professions, such as news announcers and police officers.

At the JAF Iwate booth, visitors can try on uniforms identical to those worn by JAF crew members, ride in JAF service cars, and engage in interactive content designed to help prevent traffic accidents.

**Dates and Time:** May 3 (Sun) – May 4 (Mon/Holiday), 2026 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on both days

**Location:** Appi Kogen Plaza Hall and Outdoor Special Venue (Appi Kogen, Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture)

**Participation Fee:** Free (No advance reservation required)

**Exhibition Content:** 1. **Children's Safety Driver License:** Answer traffic safety quizzes and receive a license-style card with a photo taken on the spot. 2. **Reflect Box:** Peer into the box to experience the effect of reflective materials for nighttime safety. 3. **Kids Uniform & JAF Service Car Experience:** On May 3 only, a real JAF service car will be on-site! Children can wear kids' uniforms and sit in the vehicle for commemorative photos. (Uniform experience is available on both May 3 and 4).
