Hakkoda Maru Golden Week Event From May 2nd (Saturday, Holiday) to May 6th (Wednesday, Holiday), the 'Golden Week Event' will be held at the Seikan Ferry Memorial Ship Hakkoda Maru. During the event, various programs will be offered, including special onboard commentary by former chief engineers and model railway shows. Visitors can enjoy unique activities while learning about the history of the Seikan Ferry. The JAF Aomori Branch will set up a booth on the 4th (Monday, Holiday) to issue 'Children's Safety Licenses' for free. The Children's Safety License is a traffic safety awareness tool designed to look like a real driver's license. After completing a traffic safety quiz, a card with a face photo taken on the spot will be issued. The card includes traffic safety promises, encouraging children to be mindful of safety in their daily lives.
