【What is SAFE TOWN DRIVE Tottori?】
This project, centered on Professor Kuwano of Tottori University Graduate School of Engineering, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd., and JAF Tottori Branch, is an initiative to visualize "invisible dangers" = areas with many sudden brakes and sudden accelerations, through the analysis of driving data using AI and a smartphone-linked application.
Based on this data, a traffic safety map is created, which is then reviewed and accepted by the JAF Traffic Safety Executive Committee, and used for future traffic safety activities. In addition, to enable the participation of prefectural and city residents, we will widely call on local governments, organizations, and companies to promote the initiative.
