Aichi Shinren Donates "Aikiraari" Strawberries from Aichi Prefecture to Children's Homes

JA Aichi Shinren (Aichi Prefectural Credit Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives, Representative Director and President: Mikio Isomura) donated "Aikiraari" strawberries produced in Aichi Prefecture to all 35 children's homes in Aichi Prefecture through the Chubu Zen-i Bank, a social welfare corporation, as part of its social contribution activities.

This initiative has been carried out since fiscal year 2016 (Heisei 28) to support the healthy growth of children who will bear the future of Japan, help them understand the importance of food and agriculture, and contribute to the development of agriculture within the prefecture. To date, melons, Kyoho grapes, strawberries, Ponkan oranges, watermelons, persimmons, and pears have been donated, making this the 20th donation.

The strawberries were sent to each children's home in late February.
