J-OIL MILLS, Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer CEO: Yuichiro Haruyama) held its entrance ceremony for fiscal year 2026 at its headquarters on Wednesday, April 1, with 21 new employees joining the company. Today marks a memorable first step in your professional lives, and I believe you are filled with anticipation. I sincerely welcome all 21 new employees as our new colleagues and look forward to working together.

Our company is entrusted with the social mission and responsibility of stably supplying essential oils and fats to people's lives for the foreseeable future. J-OIL MILLS was established in 2004 through the integration of three former operating companies, but tracing back to the founding of those companies, we will celebrate our 200th anniversary this year. Throughout this journey, we have consistently faced our customers and society, reviewing how we work in response to changing times. Based on this history, we have set our future vision as "Joy for Life® - Bringing joy to the future with food®," aiming to provide the joy of "eating" and "creating" to society, and to contribute to people's lives by solving social issues such as health, environment, and food resources.

Recently, entering the 2020s, we have faced significant changes in various external environments, such as the intensifying situation in the Middle East.

Global changes are having a major impact on the food industry, including our company, through changes in raw material procurement and market demand. Furthermore, in the future, in addition to responding to environmental issues such as global warming, we anticipate that our values and needs regarding life and food will change even more dynamically due to technological advancements such as AI.
