Tomoyuki Shirai (Shirai Tomoyuki)

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1990. Graduated from Tohoku University Faculty of Law. Debuted in 2014 with "Ningen no Kao wa Tabe Zurai" (KADOKAWA), a finalist for the 34th Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Award. In 2023, won the Honkaku Mystery Award for "Meitantei no Ikenie: Jinmin Kyokai Satsujin Jiken" (Shinchosha) and ranked first in "2023 Honkaku Mystery Best 10." Furthermore, "Elephant Head" (KADOKAWA) ranked first in "2024 Honkaku Mystery Best 10," achieving a second consecutive victory. Other works include "Tokyo Ketsugo Ningen," "Oyasumi Jinmensou" (KADOKAWA), "Omae no Kanojo wa Nikai de Yudedshi" and "Shitai no Shiru wo Susure" (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha), "Meitantei no Harawata" (Shinchosha), "Boku wa Bakemono Kimi wa Kaibutsu" (Kobunsha), and many others.
