Soshu Shigyo
Born in Tokyo in 1950. Graduated from Rikkyo University, Faculty of Law. Author and entrepreneur. A life theory researcher who practices and advocates a way of life centered on the combustion of life. He also develops his own art business, presiding over the Soshu Shigyo Collection and serving as the director of the Yasumasa Toshima Memorial Museum. Collected artworks include pieces by Yukihiko Yasuda, Hakuin, Heihachiro Togo, Nantenbo, Takeo Yamaguchi, and Ryo Hirano. He formed a deep friendship with the painter of the soul, Yasumasa Toshima, and after the painter's death, received all his works and established the memorial museum. He preserves and honors the artworks, displaying them at an exhibition room in Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku. Author of numerous books including 'Cho-Hagakure-ron' (Super Hagakure Theory), 'Jinsei no Logos' (The Logos of Life), 'Eien no Yukio Mishima' (Eternal Yukio Mishima) (all from Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha), 'Ikur' (To Live), 'Tomo yo' (Friends), 'Kongen he' (To the Origin), 'Datsu-Ningen-ron' (Post-Human Theory) (all from Kodansha), 'Oo Popoi!', 'Gendai no Kousatsu' (Modern Observations) (all from PHP Institute), among others.
