Store Operations As a model store for the 'creation of new SM (supermarket) businesses' set forth in the Izumi Group's Third Medium-Term Management Plan, this store is a supermarket modeled on efficient, small-group operations in urban areas, while placing emphasis on fresh produce and prepared foods. We will build a model store capable of operating with a small number of staff members by having each employee handle multiple tasks, such as register operation and product replenishment.
