Expansion of Comfortable 'Night Golf' Even in Hot Summers

Iwasaki Electric Co., Ltd. has delivered LED lighting fixtures to four new golf courses operated by Accorcia Golf Co., Ltd. and Pacific Golf Management Co., Ltd. (PGM) in May and June this year, in conjunction with the launch of new 'Night Golf' operations.

As summer temperatures continue to rise and last longer each year, 'Night Golf'—playing golf after sunset—has gained attention as a preventive measure against heatstroke and sunburn. It is increasingly becoming a popular playing style, especially among women and younger players.

The enchanting atmosphere created by illuminated courses, combined with the convenience of stopping by after work, has earned widespread support from golfers of all ages.

The four golf courses receiving the lighting fixtures are: Omurasaki Golf Club (Saitama Prefecture), which began operations on Friday, May 8; Tokyo Sōbu Country Club (Tokyo), starting Friday, May 15; Okabe Chisun Country Club Misato Course (Saitama), and Tōmei Atsugi Country Club (Kanagawa Prefecture), both commencing on Monday, June 1.

Centered on the compact and highly efficient LED floodlight 'Radium Flood Avant 400 Class,' the lighting setup ensures optimal brightness from tee shots to approach shots and putting, enabling comfortable night play.

With this delivery, Iwasaki Electric has now contributed to Night Golf operations at a total of 21 locations across both companies.
