IVS2026 Announces Official On-site Childcare Service by Josan-she's; Staffed by Qualified Midwives, Nurses, and Childcare Professionals, Accepting Children from 0 Years Old #IVS2026

Japan's largest startup conference, "IVS2026," will be held for three days from Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 3, 2026, with main venues including Miyako Messe and Hotel Okura Kyoto. This year, an official childcare center will again be set up within the venue to create an environment where entrepreneurs, investors, and business people with children can participate with peace of mind, delivering equal opportunities to all attendees. The service will be operated by Josan-she's Inc., a company that provides support services from pregnancy through childcare by midwives.

Don't Give Up on Child-Rearing or Your Ambitions

The theme of IVS2026 is "Japan is Back." Under this banner, all players, from entrepreneurs, investors, corporate decision-makers, and supporters to students, will gather in Kyoto.

However, not a few people have given up on attending because they have "nowhere to leave their children." Entrepreneurs who want to pitch for funding, investors looking for their next investment, and business people wanting to learn at cutting-edge sessions are also parents.

IVS is working to create an environment where opportunities are not lost due to "child-rearing." The official on-site childcare service, which was popular at last year's IVS2025, will be offered again this year.

Childcare Service Overview

Continuing from last year, the service will be operated by Josan-she's. Qualified midwives, nurses, or childcare workers will be on-site to look after children from 0 years old to preschool age.

The childcare center will have web cameras installed. Parents can check on their children in real-time at any time from their smartphones.

In addition to care at the event venue, overnight care is also planned at nearby hotels as a "postpartum care hotel." Throughout the three-day conference, we will have a system in place to ensure you can participate with peace of mind, from daytime sessions to side events.
