AI Instant Cash App Chaly Launches Box Appraisal for Selling Multiple Items by Mail

IVA Inc. announced the launch of Box Appraisal, also called Matomete Chaly, for its AI instant cash app Chaly. The new feature allows users to complete appraisal and sale simply by packing multiple items into a cardboard box and sending them in. Chaly has been used by many customers for its simple experience: users can sell items by taking photos and submitting them through the app. As usage expanded, the company received more requests from users who wanted to sell multiple items at once during moving or decluttering, rather than listing items one by one. In response, Chaly has added a new bulk-selling option while keeping its existing ease of use. With Box Appraisal, users pack the items they want to sell into a cardboard box and ship them. The process from appraisal to purchase is then completed without requiring individual photography or listings. Users can choose from pickup at home, self-shipping, or drop-off. Cardboard boxes can also be provided by the delivery company at pickup for a fee. For appraisal results, users can choose either automatic acceptance of the appraised amount or confirmation after appraisal. Once the items arrive at the logistics center, they are appraised in order; after the amount is presented and accepted, the value is immediately reflected in the user’s wallet. The purchase flow is: pack the items into a cardboard box, apply through the app and choose a shipping method, send the items, wait for appraisal after arrival at the center, receive the appraised amount, confirm or accept the amount depending on the selected setting, and receive the value in the wallet immediately. All items are purchased as a single batch, so partial cancellation or partial return is not available. If users choose to confirm the appraisal amount, they must respond within seven days of the offer; otherwise, they are deemed to have accepted it. If the user rejects the amount, the items will be returned cash on delivery. Chaly is a fee-free purchase app that uses AI to automatically appraise items from photos and enables instant monetization. Unlike conventional flea market apps, it does not require transaction fees, listings, packing, or communication with buyers. A delivery carrier can visit the user’s home with packaging materials and collect the items, allowing users to sell unwanted goods with minimal effort. Key features include AI appraisal from product photos, no listing or buyer negotiation, eKYC identity verification for all users to prevent fraud and counterfeit distribution, Chaly’s own authentication process for high-value or authentication-required items after arrival, and instant purchase by IVA without waiting for a buyer. IVA also states that the service can support retailers by supplying a stable volume of diverse products and by pricing high-value items appropriately based on physical appraisal and marketplace or auction price references.
