Itscom to Produce and Broadcast a Special Program on 'Community Development Through Local Sports' Initiative by Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo and Tokyo City University as Sustainability Partner

Its Communications Inc. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, President: Mie Kanai, hereinafter 'Itscom') will produce and broadcast a special program on its Itscom Channel, based on coverage of the 'Community Development Through Local Sports' educational program conducted through industry-academia collaboration between Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo (Location: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, General Manager: Tsutomu Nishitsuji), a team in Japan Rugby League One, and Tokyo City University (Location: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, President: Tomoya Nojiri).

Through its sustainability partnership with Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo, Itscom is engaged in promoting regional exchange centered around rugby, advancing diversity, and creating opportunities for children to engage with sports.

The seminar curriculum, themed 'Marketing and Branding for Community Development Through Local Sports' by Professor Kitami's laboratory in the Urban Life Studies Department at Tokyo City University, will involve lectures provided by Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo and stadium research opportunities as a field for study.

Itscom will cover and film these seminars and broadcast them as a special program on the Itscom Channel.

The program will introduce initiatives for community development through local sports, with a focus on marketing and branding, by showcasing approximately six months of classes and stadium surveys themed 'Community Development Through the Power of Sports.' It will also feature interviews with staff from Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo and students from Professor Kitami's laboratory, highlighting the contributions of Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo and Tokyo City University to the Setagaya ward and surrounding areas where they operate.
