Exhibition Concept: 'A Scene from Life with Towels,' the Origin of Craftsmanship

In this exhibition, Contex will give form, through warm illustrations and displays, to the perspective they constantly ask themselves when planning and designing products: 'When, where, and by whom will this towel be used?' They will realize an exhibition space where visitors can intuitively search for a towel with a 'tactile feel,' pursued by deliberately slowing down Contex's specialized weaving machines, and find what is 'just right' for themselves or their loved ones.

- Experience Choosing from 'Usage Scenes'

Illustrations and other displays depict specific scenes where each towel is actively used in daily life, such as in the kitchen, bathroom, or when out and about.

- Product Development from a Consumer Perspective

Products with a background rooted in daily life are exhibited, such as a hooded bath towel born from the wish to 'add a little ease to child-rearing,' and stretchable pillowcases based on real-life experiences.
