ITFOR Inc. ◆ What is a "TOKYO Papa Parental Leave Promotion Company"?

This is a public awareness project implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to promote the establishment of a workplace environment where male employees routinely take parental leave, and both men and women can balance childcare and work. Companies that meet certain criteria are awarded the "TOKYO Papa Parental Leave Promotion Company Registration Mark" under this project.

Eligible companies must meet four criteria: ① operate a business in Tokyo, ② have employees who have taken parental leave for a total of 15 days or more within the past two fiscal years, ③ have an average parental leave acquisition rate of 50% or more for eligible male employees within the past two fiscal years, and ④ have no serious legal violations within the past five years. The certification rank is also categorized according to the parental leave acquisition rate of male employees in previous fiscal years.

◆ Our Initiatives

Our company's male parental leave acquisition rate was 57.1% in FY2023 and achieved 100% for both men and women in FY2024.

To support this achievement, we introduced our unique benefit system, "Papa Mama Childcare Support Fund," starting in April 2025, to encourage parental leave acquisition. This system aims to alleviate the economic burden associated with taking parental leave, providing 150,000 yen to employees who take parental leave for the first time after April 2025, conditional on taking 15 consecutive days or more.

Furthermore, we are working to foster a corporate culture that makes it easy to take parental leave company-wide, including providing a "Childcare Workplace Support Allowance" to employees who directly take over the duties of those on parental leave for a certain period.

These initiatives have been recognized, and our company has acquired Bronze certification for "TOKYO Papa Parental Leave Promotion Company."

Taking this certification as an opportunity, our company will strive to further establish and improve the quality of parental leave acquisition, and develop a workplace environment where each employee can balance childcare and work with peace of mind. Concurrently, we will continuously expand our systems and review their operations to promote a more user-friendly environment.
