ITFOR Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Sakata) announced today the official release of "DigiShare," a platform for safely and securely passing on digital assets to the next generation.
DigiShare is a B2BtoC service that links a user-friendly "smartphone app" for individuals with a management "web app (back office)" for adopting companies and organizations, requiring no maintenance or operation. While individual users can securely store and share important information digitally, adopting companies and organizations can analyze usage and deliver targeted information.
Its development utilized knowledge gained from the "Electronic End-of-Life Notebook" verification project conducted in Kumamoto Prefecture in 2024.
We aim to secure 6 orders annually and 30 orders within five years, with a view to expanding beyond our main customer base of financial institutions and local governments to a wide range of industries.
◆ Background
In Japan, a super-aging society, issues related to end-of-life planning are becoming increasingly complex each year. Particularly in recent years, with the spread of subscription services and paperless banking, it has become difficult for families to ascertain the asset information of deceased individuals. According to the latest survey (published March 2026) by the General Incorporated Association Shūkatsu Kyōgikai (End-of-Life Planning Council) (*1), 38% of respondents cited "family struggling due to unknown passwords" and 17% cited "subscriptions and online contracts remaining active" as their biggest concerns regarding digital end-of-life planning.
To address these societal challenges, our company collaborated with Kumamoto Prefecture to conduct the "Electronic End-of-Life Notebook" demonstration project in 2024. The results showed that not only seniors but also younger generations are interested in digital asset management, yet existing end-of-life services have high barriers to entry and low awareness. Based on the knowledge gained from this demonstration project, we embarked on the development of DigiShare, a platform that allows anyone to easily and reliably manage and share information.
◆ What is "DigiShare"?
DigiShare is a B2BtoC platform that links a user-friendly "smartphone app" for individuals with a management "web app (back office)" for adopting companies and organizations to perform customer analysis and information distribution.
① Smartphone App
This is an intuitive tool for users to "record themselves" and "deliver to loved ones." It can store a wide range of information, including bank account details, insurance enrollment status, SNS accounts, subscription service login information, medical and care wishes, and video messages for family. Users can set information to be shared with loved ones at their desired timing, such as "in case of emergency (at the time of death)," "at a specified date and time (time capsule)," or "immediately."
② Web App (Back Office)
This is a back-office system used by adopting companies and organizations to view information of users who have registered them as information recipients. If a user has set information to be shared "in case of emergency (at the time of death)," the adopting company or organization will verify public documents (death registration) and securely disclose the information.

◆ Strengths of DigiShare
DigiShare is a highly practical platform that reflects on-site needs, developed through demonstration projects with Kumamoto Prefecture and local banks. It adopts the blockchain technology "Tapyrus" (*2), which is difficult to tamper with, to ensure the authenticity of information. We securely store users' important information in an environment compliant with the strict security standards of financial institutions and local governments, which have been our main customer base for many years.
◆ Benefits of Adoption
① User Benefits
Users can securely store their important information digitally and reliably share it with loved ones. The smartphone app makes it easy to take measures against "digital relics" anytime, anywhere. It can prevent situations such as "family not knowing account information" or "unable to cancel subscriptions" in the event of inheritance or an emergency.
② Benefits for Adopting Companies/Organizations
Adopting entities can statistically grasp items of high interest from the information users entrust, and utilize this for consulting. They can also use the app's push notification function to directly deliver information and advertisements tailored to user attributes, enabling effective marketing. Since users invite "recipients (family)" through the app, it naturally reaches a highly reliable segment of potential future customers. Furthermore, all app operations and system maintenance are handled by our company, allowing departments unfamiliar with system operations to use it with peace of mind, minimizing the burden on adopting companies and organizations.
◆ Our Past Initiatives
"DigiShare" was adopted in Kumamoto Prefecture's "Digital Keywords" competition in 2023.
