Atsuki Suzumiya / REAL AKIBA BOYZ, who organize "Akibaccano," a 2-on-2 dance battle event using A-POP songs (such as anime songs, Vocaloid, and VTuber music), held 'Akibaccano High School vol.1,' their first A-POP solo dance battle specifically for high school students.

"Akibaccano" has been running 'Akibaccano Kids' for junior high school students and younger since last year, and it has garnered attention as a place for nurturing the next generation, with many alumni achieving good results in the main competition. This new high school division was established with the aim of discovering even younger talent.

Entries filled up the 64-person capacity in just three hours, and the event recorded such a huge response that it was urgently expanded to 80 participants. Held during Golden Week, high school dancers gathered from not only the Kanto region but also from all over Japan, engaging in top-level, fierce battles.

After intense competition, SORA was crowned the first champion of the memorable inaugural tournament. SORA captivated the audience with overwhelming expressiveness and skill, achieving a well-deserved victory.

<Comment from SORA (Winner)>

"Honestly, honestly, I've wanted to win this Akibaccano High School tournament ever since it was announced. But recently, I haven't been able to express my true self, and at crucial moments, I couldn't quite nail my dance or get the results I wanted. So, I'm thrilled to have won, and I had so much fun dancing until the very end. I'm grateful to Atsuki-san and everyone involved in this competition. Thank you very much!"
