HARUYOSHI competed as a member of 'POZE' in the group category and as 'Yamanaka HARUYOSHI' in the solo category. Following his success in the North Kanto preliminaries, he delivered an overwhelming performance on the national stage, finally achieving his long-sought triumph in this competition after years of challenge. “As I declared before, I achieved 'two titles'!!! This competition has been a turning point in my journey with dance, where I've experienced much joy and frustration. Especially in the solo category, I never achieved a result for 10 years and shed many tears of regret. When my name was called as 'First Place' at the awards ceremony, I found myself on the verge of tears. (laughs) By challenging myself in this competition, I confronted my dance more than ever before, and based on the results, I gained both 'confidence' and 'areas for improvement'.
