MARANT Unveils Its Spring/Summer 2027 Collection

Creative Director Kim Bekker's MARANT Spring 2027 collection is an exploration of wardrobes crafted around the world. From Seoul to Ibiza, Los Angeles to Tangier, Amsterdam to Arizona—and finally, back to the places each person calls 'home.' 'I wanted to express the many different facets of a man’s style,' says Bekker. 'He travels the world, collecting pieces here and there. These are items meant to be worn for years, timeless pieces that will never fade.'

The MARANT Spring 2027 collection illustrates a personal style formed by gradually gathering and layering beloved items, showing how anyone can create their own unique look through accumulation. Bekker centers the collection on clean, body-hugging layered silhouettes, combining lightweight tailoring with pieces that carry a more sporty mood. The color palette features sand, brown, rust, red, green, and the blues of chambray and denim. Soft, crinkled shirt jackets are paired with sharply front-pleated twill pants, accented at the waist with multiple woven cord belts. Snap-button leather jackets with a well-worn character and relaxed utility bombers are designed to become long-lasting wardrobe staples. Faded grunge-check shirts and striped T-shirts are crafted to easily integrate into any wardrobe as signature MARANT classics. The brand’s knitwear, meanwhile, stands out with relaxed, folk-inspired designs that evoke a handmade, artisanal feel. Also featured is a bold color-blocked sweater inspired by an archival piece from the 2018 women’s collection.

Every look is completed with 'TK,' a new graphic running-style sneaker, and layered jewelry. These accessories carry a bohemian spirit—reminiscent of treasures found along the way, or family heirlooms passed down from father to son across generations. They reflect Bekker’s vision of the brand as one that transcends age.

The casting for the visuals, photographed by Brett Lloyd, is equally distinctive. Featured men include French designer Bachir Mbaye, Italian artist Tito Rapetti, French singer Hervé, Swiss model Jesse Rinderknecht, and Portuguese artist Nuno Marques. The imagery aims to offer an intimate glimpse into their everyday lives. 'I wanted to show them within their own worlds,' Bekker explains. 'Since the entire collection feels drawn from real life, it felt only natural that the men wearing it should also be authentic—men living their own lives.'
