■ Background and Objectives
For Japanese manufacturers and supply chain companies operating in the ASEAN region, especially in Malaysia, the recent acceleration of digital transformation (DX) and the response to labor shortages have become urgent issues.
BIA leverages its consulting expertise, which integrates business strategy and IT solutions, to develop human resources who can dramatically improve productivity by incorporating generative AI into practical work. Through this project, we aim to strengthen the competitiveness of Japanese companies in ASEAN and support their transition to sustainable business models.
■ "AI-Driven Business Redesign Program" Overview
This program is a practical workshop aimed at redesigning (Redesign) actual business processes to align with AI, not merely introducing AI tools.
■ Target Participants: Executives, DX promotion managers, and practical leaders of Japanese companies and their supply chain companies in the ASEAN region, primarily Malaysia.
■ Training Content: Basics of generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT), prompt engineering, AI-driven business process redesign workshops, and OJT-style accompanying support.
■ Workshop Features
・Output-oriented: Participants will not just listen to lectures but engage in practical hands-on training, allowing them to take home a blueprint of "how their work will change."
・Assumes Malaysia/ASEAN business challenges: Examples include leveraging translation/summarization in multilingual environments and AI utilization in remote management, tailored to the local business environment.
・Utilization of subsidies: As the program has been selected for AMEICC's "ASEAN GX/DX Human Resource Development Support Program," up to half of the tuition fees may be subsidized if certified.

■ About AMEICC's "ASEAN GX/DX Human Resource Development Support Program"
The ASEAN region has seen many Japanese companies, primarily in manufacturing, expand their operations, contributing to regional economic growth and employment for many years. However, with the increasing complexity of international affairs and the urgent need to address climate change, Japanese companies must upgrade their industrial base to adapt to new environments.
This subsidy program aims to support training costs for GX (Green Transformation) and DX to promote productivity improvement and decarbonization for companies belonging to the Japanese supply chain in the ASEAN region. The AMEICC Secretariat (within the AOTS Bangkok office) is responsible for its operation. For more details on AMEICC, please visit https://ameicc.org/.
■ Representative Message:
"We are deeply honored to have been selected for AMEICC's subsidy program. The ASEAN region is currently undergoing a period of great transformation. Through this workshop, we will fully support Japanese companies in making further leaps forward, armed with the latest AI technology. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our localized activities as a good partner supporting the development of Japanese companies in ASEAN."
