■Introduction of Seiichiro Nukui

Graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Hitotsubashi University. After joining Arthur Andersen & Company (now Accenture Inc.), he became a partner and subsequently served as General Manager of the Communications, Media, and High-Tech Industries Division. Primarily focusing on the high-tech manufacturing industry, he was involved in management strategy, IT, and business process reengineering (BPR), participating in 12 companies and 43 projects.

In 2015, he joined Hitachi, Ltd., where he advanced management and IT as an Executive IT Strategist. Later, as a Director, he was involved in promoting the Social Innovation Business while also overseeing business units in the industrial and distribution sectors. He served as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and General Manager of the Global Front Division. Furthermore, as Chief One Hitachi Promotions Officer, he led the company-wide transformation project "One Hitachi." In 2021, as CIO and Head of IT & Digital Strategy Division, he was responsible for the company's overall digital strategy and IT infrastructure.

Over many years, he has demonstrated leadership across a broad spectrum of areas, from strategy formulation and execution to organizational reform and digital promotion. He is recognized as one of Japan's preeminent executive strategists who has achieved corporate transformation through DX, by unifying strategy, IT, and business.
