Sense of Burden Regarding Cram School Fees: 91.2% Feel "Somewhat to Very Burdened"

A total of 227 respondents (91.2%) answered that they feel "somewhat burdened" or "very burdened." The sense of burden regarding cram school fees was a common feeling among almost all parents, regardless of the type of cram school attended or the level of monthly tuition.

57.7% Answer "Reasonable" Despite Feeling the Burden

Despite feeling the burden, 57.7% answered that "the fees are reasonable/appropriate," suggesting that many parents have complex feelings, such as "I think it's expensive, but it's worth the value."

Cost Perception by Cram School Type: Group classes are perceived as "reasonable" while self-study types are perceived as "expensive."

Cost perception trends vary greatly depending on the type of cram school. While 85.7% of respondents found group classes (large groups) to be "reasonable/inexpensive," 45.2% of those in fully individual instruction (1-on-1) and 60.0% of those in self-study types felt the fees were "high."
