Saaske Works, a no-code business application development platform provided by InterPark Co., Ltd., has been adopted by Obayashi Corporation’s Koden ICJV Construction Office. The office has started operating a Corrective Report App that digitizes the full process from registering corrective instructions during daily site patrols to reporting, while consolidating and managing related information. By using mobile devices to connect the construction site and office in real time, the system enables the office to reliably carry out the safety management basics of “instruction → response → report,” even with limited personnel handling large volumes of information generated across the broad work area of a large-scale construction site. The goal is to manage operations efficiently while ensuring safety and quality. Large-scale sites generate many corrective instructions during daily patrols. Previously, the office used chat tools and similar methods to issue and report corrective instructions, but it faced issues such as mixed information, higher costs for checking and reviewing past communications, and a greater risk of missed responses. Because of the large volume of information, it was also difficult to systematically accumulate knowledge and prevent recurrence of similar issues. A mechanism was needed to grasp the overall situation, conduct regular reviews, and issue reminders. This initiative focuses on preventing information fragmentation and integrating data in one place so that even a large-scale site with limited personnel can reliably execute the safety management process of instruction, response, and report. Based on these site-level challenges, the office built the Corrective Report App using Saaske Works. Its goals include making information transparent by registering and sharing corrective instructions and reports in real time through mobile devices; centralizing information by managing instruction details, response reports, and current progress in a single database; preventing missed responses by listing all instructions and progress statuses so unfinished items can be quickly identified; and supporting reviews and reminders by systematically accumulating data to prevent repeated deficiencies. Expected benefits include more reliable safety and quality management through accurate recording and management of response results; improved site efficiency by reducing the burden of searching through chat histories and accelerating information sharing; prevention of recurrence and stronger safety awareness through regular reviews and reminders based on accumulated data; and flexible operations that can expand in scope according to changing site needs without stopping ongoing work. Going forward, the office plans to optimize its operation methods based on feedback from actual site use, aiming for further improvements in safety and quality. InterPark will continue supporting flexible digital transformation tailored to the needs of construction sites through Saaske Works. Obayashi’s Koden ICJV Construction Office commented that corrective instructions during site patrols are top-priority information for ensuring site safety and quality. While conventional chat tools can distribute information quickly, the information can easily be buried among other exchanges, making it time-consuming to understand response status. With the Corrective Report App, the statuses of instructions, responses, and reports are now visualized and easy to understand at a glance. The office expects the app to help thoroughly implement basic safety management and achieve more precise safety control, even with limited personnel at a large-scale site. InterPark commented that it is honored that Saaske Works has been adopted as a foundation for safety management. The strength of its no-code tool is that site teams can build and improve systems themselves according to site-specific challenges. InterPark will continue working closely with Obayashi to help further advance safety and quality management until the operation is firmly established. Saaske Works is a no-code business application creation tool provided by InterPark. Users can create original business apps tailored to their purposes by selecting prepared development components and using drag-and-drop operations, without programming skills or specialized knowledge. As a cloud service, it can be used regardless of operating system or device, and it enables fast information sharing through simultaneous access and real-time updates.
