Integriculture Inc. (Headquarters: Fujisawa, Kanagawa; CEO: Yuki Hanyu; hereinafter "Integriculture"), which is working to create new industries through "cellular agriculture" (*), has entered into a joint development agreement with Oisix ra daichi Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Kohei Takashima; hereinafter "Oisix ra daichi"), a provider of food subscription services, effective January 22, 2026.
(*) Cellular agriculture: An industry that creates food and resources by cultivating animal or plant cells.
Furthermore, to strengthen this partnership, it has been decided that the companies will participate in the "Niigata Food Tech Town Initiative" promoted by Oisix ra daichi and the NSG Group, starting in March 2026. By fusing the strengths of both companies and utilizing Niigata's rich food resources, they aim to create "regionally branded cellular foods" that are unparalleled in the world.
Background and Purpose: Turning Technology into "Culture." Fusing Regional Resources with Cellular Agriculture
As the social implementation of cellular agriculture accelerates globally, there is a demand for cellular foods to go beyond their function as mere "alternative foods" and instead create "stories" and "high added value" that are loved by consumers.
In this project, Integriculture's cell culture technology will be combined with the marketing know-how and product development capabilities cultivated by Oisix ra daichi. By utilizing regional resources such as Niigata Prefecture's famous water and agricultural products in cellular agriculture, the companies will examine the potential for "cellular foods with a unique Niigata story," presenting a new model for regional revitalization and sustainable food production.
Roles of Each Company
In this joint development, both companies will assume the following roles to conduct speedy research, development, and product commercialization studies:
・Integriculture's role: Prototype production of cellular foods and evaluation of prototypes. ・Oisix ra daichi's role: Menu development using cellular foods, product prototyping, and evaluation of prototypes.
Future Outlook
Throughout 2026, the companies will proceed with the development of the Niigata-branded cellular foods, with plans to design a concrete development schedule in April 2026.
Through this "Niigata Food Tech Town Initiative," we will prove that cellular agriculture is an "infrastructure available to everyone" that can revitalize specific regional economies and enrich food culture.

【Company Overviews】
About Integriculture Inc.
With a vision of "cellular agriculture for everyone," the company has developed the "CulNet® System," a low-cost, highly versatile cell culture platform. It challenges the creation of new regional businesses, such as cellular foods, cosmetics, and materials that utilize local water and unused resources, contributing to a sustainable future for food and the realization of an affluent society.
* What is the CulNet® System? It is the world's first general-purpose cell culture platform that cultivates cells inexpensively and in large quantities by simulating the environment inside an animal's body. Its greatest feature is that it does not require the external addition of expensive cell growth factors (nutrients), but instead utilizes the cells' own production capabilities, simultaneously achieving cost reduction and lower environmental impact for cellular foods.
