Launch of SaaS-based EPPV Progress Management System Service

Intage Technosphere Inc. (Location: Nishitokyo City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kazuko Sakai) has developed a SaaS-based "EPPV Progress Management System" specialized for Early Post-marketing Phase Vigilance (EPPV) of pharmaceuticals. We are now recruiting users from pharmaceutical companies for the upcoming start of trial implementation.

■ Development Background

EPPV is a safety survey mandated for pharmaceutical companies immediately after a new drug is launched, and it is positioned as an important part of Japan's pharmaceutical regulatory system (see Material 1). In recent years, the number of approvals for pharmaceuticals containing new active ingredients has been increasing (see Material 2), raising interest in post-marketing safety surveillance. Against this background, we are launching an EPPV progress management system available as a SaaS.

■ Features of the New Service

• Unlike our conventional systems built for individual customers, this is a SaaS-based service with pre-equipped functions.

• Can be used independently and exclusively for EPPV※1

• Short-term contracts are possible depending on the survey period.

• Standard equipped with progress management functions necessary for EPPV.

※1: Can be implemented independently without relying on other systems such as daily report systems.

■ Future Developments

We will exhibit at "Pharma IT & Digital Health Expo 2026" (Organizer: Informa Markets Japan Co., Ltd.) to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 21-23 (10:00-17:00). Visitors will be able to view screen images.
Subsequently, we will recruit trial users and conduct a PoC (Proof of Concept through trial implementation).
