"Moin" to Make Highly Anticipated Debut in Japan – Featuring Drummer/Composer/Multi-instrumentalist Valentina Magaletti, known for her work in Holy Tongue, Tomaga, Vanishing Twin, and the post-punk/post-hardcore project by electronic duo Raime's Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead.

Special Guest: "goat," a rhythm ensemble formed around composer and musician Koushirou Hino, also known as YPY, who is also generating buzz with his duo project with Magaletti. The art platform "MODE," dedicated to "exchange and interaction" through experimental art, will hold its first program of 2026 on Saturday, June 6th, at the live house LIQUIDROOM in Ebisu, Tokyo.

This program will feature the first-ever performance in Japan by "Moin," a post-punk/post-hardcore project by London-based drummer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Valentina Magaletti, known for her involvement in various projects such as Holy Tongue, Tomaga, and Vanishing Twin, along with Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews of the electronic duo Raime.

Additionally, the event will be held as a double bill with "goat," a rhythm ensemble formed around Osaka-based musician Koushirou Hino, also known as YPY.

Moin is a project by the London-based trio of Joe Andrews, Tom Halstead, and Valentina Magaletti. They reinterpret the lineage of guitar music, including grunge, shoegaze, and post-rock, and have released three albums to date, performing at various venues such as international music festivals and art spaces.

Andrews and Halstead are also active as the electronic duo Raime, holding an important position in the UK underground scene with their layered electronics incorporating elements of industrial, gothic, and dub.
