The happiest moment at Washinmura is when a cat walks right up to you. If you get the chance, please visit Washinmura and experience this happiness for yourself.

Washinmura is a glamping village with only six rooms, nestled in the satoyama of Futtsu, Chiba. Spend healing moments surrounded by nature and animals, featuring a 200-year-old traditional Japanese house and 16 rescue cats.

*How to spend your day* Climb hills carrying baskets on your back or explore the forest. Enjoy a physical, old-fashioned 'primitive experience' using your entire body.

*How to spend your night* Have a quiet chat while watching the campfire glow, with a cat curling up and falling asleep next to you before you know it. Such a day in the satoyama is a common sight here at Washinmura.

*About the facility* Within the premises, a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, a Nagayamon gate, tents, and snow peak 'Jyubako' cabins are scattered. We live together with the following animals: - 15 rescue cats + 1 cat (living in the dormitory) - Goats - Dogs - A family of Silkie chickens
