The 360-degree aerial drone 'Antigravity A1' has been adopted into the 'Real-Time Remote Site Management System' launched by Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd., through integration with 'Nossa360', a service provided by Nossa Corporation.

This system enables the sharing of 360-degree omnidirectional video footage captured by drones at construction sites across multiple locations—including on-site teams, branch offices, headquarters, and clients—allowing remote stakeholders to fully grasp site conditions in real time.

By combining Antigravity A1's 360-degree aerial imaging capabilities with Nossa360's remote sharing and communication functions, site surroundings that were previously difficult to assess with conventional drone footage can now be intuitively and comprehensively reviewed. This integration is expected to enhance information sharing, consensus building, safety management, and reduce unnecessary travel time at construction sites.

Challenges

In large-scale construction projects, it's essential for multiple stakeholders—including on-site personnel, headquarters, branch offices, subcontractors, and clients—to accurately share the same situational awareness.

However, traditional drone videos are limited to fixed shooting angles, making it difficult for remote stakeholders to understand the overall spatial layout and surrounding conditions of the site. In particular, it was often unclear to viewers 'what exactly is being observed' or 'which area is being discussed,' leading to misalignment in understanding and prolonged verification processes.

Solution

With this new system, 360-degree aerial footage captured by the Antigravity A1 is shared via Nossa360, enabling remote stakeholders to view the same site footage while independently adjusting their viewing angles to assess conditions.

The 360-degree video allows users to review any direction even after recording, eliminating the need to rely on single-direction footage for full site comprehension. Additionally, Nossa360 enables simultaneous access to the same video from multiple locations, facilitating smoother alignment and decision-making among stakeholders.

For the PoC and implementation of this initiative, support was provided by the General Incorporated Association Japan Low-Altitude Economic Promotion Society (LEAD-J), including product validation, implementation assistance, and operational training for Insta360/Antigravity devices.

System Workflow

a) 360-degree aerial imaging of the site using Antigravity A1

The drone captures a full 360-degree video of the site and surrounding environment in a single flight.

b) Sharing and reviewing captured data on Nossa360

The 360-degree footage is uploaded and shared on Nossa360, enabling remote stakeholders to access and review the same site footage.

c) Simultaneous review and discussion from multiple locations

On-site teams, branch offices, headquarters, and clients can access the same video simultaneously, review from their preferred angles, and discuss areas of interest or site conditions collaboratively.

d) Report generation from added notes and comments

Participants can attach comments and annotations to specific scenes and viewing directions, and after the session, reports can be automatically generated from these comments and image data.

This seamless workflow is built upon the existing integration between Nossa360 and Insta360. Nossa360 supports Insta360's X Series, including the X3, X4, and X5 models, providing an efficient environment for importing, sharing, and reviewing 360-degree videos. This makes 360-degree footage more accessible and easier to integrate into construction site workflows.

· Hardware: Antigravity A1

The Antigravity A1 is a drone specifically designed for 360-degree aerial imaging. It captures the entire surrounding area in a single recording, eliminating the directional limitations of traditional drone footage and allowing users to freely review the site from any angle post-capture.

In operational environments such as construction sites—where broad situational awareness and multi-party verification are critical—the Antigravity A1 supports site visualization and remote inspection. It is particularly effective for comprehensively assessing spatial relationships, surrounding conditions, and potential hazards.

· Software: Nossa360

Nossa360 is a cloud-based service that supports remote site management and communication using 360-degree video. In addition to video sharing and viewing, its integration with Microsoft Teams allows site footage to be reviewed within commonly used communication platforms.

Participants can freely switch viewing angles, and the system also displays where other participants are looking, enabling easier alignment on points of focus even across remote locations. This addresses the challenge of unclear visual references in remote inspections, streamlining explanations and decision-making regarding site conditions.

Expected Benefits from Implementation

The system is expected to deliver the following benefits at construction sites:

- Improved accuracy in overall site assessment through 360-degree aerial footage - Smoother information sharing among on-site teams, branches, headquarters, and clients - Faster alignment and consensus building among stakeholders - Reduced travel time and costs associated with site visits - Minimized unnecessary access to hazardous areas - Enhanced use of video for disaster prevention, progress tracking, and safety management

By enabling remote access to information that previously required physical presence, the system supports both operational efficiency and improved safety.

Value in Construction Site Applications

In construction, accurately understanding site conditions and rapidly aligning stakeholders is crucial. When conducting remote inspections, traditional single-direction videos often fail to convey surrounding contexts and spatial relationships.

By combining Antigravity A1's 360-degree aerial footage with Nossa360's sharing capabilities, stakeholders can view the same footage while independently selecting optimal viewing angles. The key advantage of this integration is the ability to use aerial footage not just as a record, but as practical, actionable information supporting on-site decisions and remote consultations.

Future Developments

Tokyu Construction aims to roll out this system company-wide by fiscal year 2027 (※2).

Additionally, at the recently held 'Japan Drone 2026' exhibition, supported by LEAD-J, the Antigravity A1's 360-degree imaging solution was showcased. High interest and positive feedback were received from attendees across various industries. Moving forward, Antigravity will collaborate with LEAD-J to expand corporate adoption, offering end-to-end support from PoC to implementation and operational assistance.

Antigravity will continue to promote practical 360-degree aerial imaging solutions tailored to construction site operations through partnerships with Nossa360 and other companies, while also exploring applications beyond construction to support safer and more efficient site management across diverse industries.
