Launching "Vertical AI Studio" to Co-Create Industry-Specific AI Businesses with Partners

inovie Inc. (Location: Kita-ku, Osaka City, Representative Director: Kazunari Kuwatani, hereinafter "inovie") is pleased to announce the launch of "Vertical AI Studio," a business co-creation studio designed to jointly develop industry-specific AI products by combining the deep understanding of industry-specific challenges held by our partners with inovie's AI-native product development capabilities.

Vertical AI Studio aims to rapidly launch AI products that deeply integrate into industry-specific operations by combining partners who possess problem-solving insights, customer touchpoints, and sales channels within specific industries, with inovie's execution power in planning, design, development, and improvement.

As our first initiative, we have developed "FitDesign AI," an AI design creation tool for fitness studios. FitDesign AI is a product that enables store staff to create promotional materials such as social media images, flyers, and in-store POPs in a short amount of time. It is scheduled to be introduced and showcased at "SPORTEC 2026 Tokyo," to be held at Tokyo Big Sight East Exhibition Hall from July 8 (Wed) to 10 (Fri), 2026.

This announcement is not a launch of FitDesign AI alone, but rather about the commencement of "Vertical AI Studio," which aims to co-create industry-specific AI businesses with partners. FitDesign AI is positioned as the first product to practically validate the co-creation model of the studio.

Background of Vertical AI Studio Launch

While the use of generative AI and AI agents is expanding, creating products that become established in actual operations and are continuously used requires an understanding of industry-specific business customs, on-site operations, customer touchpoints, and decision-making structures.

In many industries, there are tasks that can be significantly streamlined by AI. However, there is a disconnect between the human resources and companies that deeply understand on-site challenges and the systems capable of quickly planning, developing, and improving AI products. As a result, issues arise such as projects ending at the PoC stage, failing to lead to sales, or not being continuously used by end-users.

Vertical AI Studio is a business co-creation model designed to bridge this gap. Partners can focus on industry challenges and customer touchpoints, while inovie will be responsible for the planning, design, development, improvement, and, as needed, marketing and customer support systems for AI products. Both parties will launch businesses on an equal footing, aiming for the continuous growth of products through flexible arrangements including revenue sharing.

Features of Vertical AI Studio

1. Product Design Based on Industry Challenges

Instead of introducing generic AI functions, we design products tailored to industry-specific operations, business customs, and on-site decision-making criteria. With the premise of being "used" in the field, we collaborate with partners from problem identification to solution design.

2. Rapid Validation with an AI-Native Development System

We build MVPs, mockups, landing pages, operational prototypes, etc., in a short period and validate them by applying them to actual customers and on-site situations. The verification process, which normally takes several months, is compressed through the partner's industry knowledge and inovie's development system.

3. Joint Business Model Based on Revenue Sharing

We emphasize nurturing products as a joint venture rather than a one-off contract development. Roles for initial development, sales validation, improvement, and operation are clearly defined, and a revenue distribution model is designed to align with business growth.

4. Visualization through a Business Management Dashboard

A dashboard will be built to visualize sales, costs, revenue share distribution, customer data, and initiative progress within the joint venture, supporting decision-making with partners.

First Initiative: FitDesign AI in the Fitness Domain

As the first initiative of Vertical AI Studio, we have developed "FitDesign AI," an AI design creation tool for fitness studios.

Fitness studios continuously produce promotional materials such as social media posts, campaign announcements, flyers, and in-store POPs. However, they face challenges such as store staff not having enough time for design creation, outsourcing being costly and time-consuming, and difficulty in maintaining brand tone across multiple locations.

FitDesign AI aims to provide an experience that allows store staff to create promotional materials in a short amount of time, addressing these on-site challenges. By enabling the creation of necessary materials when needed, without excessive reliance on outsourcing or professional designers, it supports the acceleration of store operations and marketing.

The project began in May 2026, and the product was completed in June 2026. It will be introduced and showcased at "SPORTEC 2026 Tokyo" held from July 8 (Wed) to 10 (Fri), 2026, where fitness industry professionals will have the opportunity to experience it.

This initiative was realized through a connection with our co-creation partner, VERSE Inc., represented by Ritsuki Miyoshi. At this exhibition, we will validate not only FitDesign AI but also the co-creation model of Vertical AI Studio itself, while receiving feedback from actual fitness industry professionals.
