Innovature Technologies Integrates Pinmicro's Real-Time Location System (RTLS) Business

Innovature Technologies (hereinafter "Innovature") has integrated the Real-Time Location System (RTLS) business previously operated by Pinmicro.

While the digitization of on-site operations is progressing, many customers have expressed concerns regarding "how to translate acquired data into operational improvements." A lack of know-how in data design and storage—with utilization in mind—often leads to limited results relative to the burden placed on the front lines. Consequently, many companies face the challenge of stalling during the transition from Proof of Concept (PoC) to full-scale implementation.

To address these challenges, Pinmicro independently developed "Japan's first smart UWB (Ultra-Wideband) location sensor," which achieves stable, high-precision positioning even in indoor environments. They have refined the technology to accurately track the minute movements and dwell times of all dynamic assets—including people, vehicles, and materials—even within complex environments such as factories, warehouses, and offices.

Meanwhile, Innovature has consistently provided services ranging from system design and cloud infrastructure construction to advanced data analysis using AI, centered on its expertise in DX and technology consulting. Our strength lies not only in collecting data but in preparing it into a "usable state" for business and generating insights that solve management issues through continuous analysis.

Through this business integration, we have established a system capable of providing a seamless flow from "high-precision data acquisition" to "strategic data infrastructure construction" and "advanced AI-driven analysis and utilization."

As a result, location information will no longer be limited to a mere "on-site visualization tool." For example, it becomes possible to elevate on-site operational optimization into insights directly linked to management decisions, such as by precisely analyzing the flow lines of people and equipment to eliminate wasted movement and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Moving forward, as practical examples of this solution, we plan to hold demonstrations and online seminars explaining how to convert location information and environmental data obtained from IoT devices into concrete value.
