Popular Illustrated Series 'Yuruyuru Zukan' Gets TV Anime Adaptation! Airing from October 2026 on TV Tokyo Network's 'Ani Mori!' Every Sunday at 7:00 AM

Imagica Infos Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo / President & CEO: Koya Maeda, hereinafter 'Imagica Infos') announces the television anime adaptation of Gakken Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo / President & CEO: Tatsuya Minami, hereinafter 'Gakken')'s highly popular 'Yuruyuru Zukan' encyclopedia series (total series circulation: 1.24 million copies as of June 2026), produced as part of the joint venture 'Animation ID' with Dainippon Printing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo / President & CEO: Giichi Kitajima, hereinafter 'DNP'). The anime will begin airing in October 2026, every Sunday from 7:00 AM, within the 'Ani Mori!' programming block on the TV Tokyo network across six stations.

The original 'Yuruyuru Zukan' series is a fresh, new-style encyclopedia that presents fun facts and surprising aspects of animals and creatures through cute illustrations, making even scary topics enjoyable and accessible.

This anime adaptation preserves the charm of the original, visualized as a 'Light Anime®'—a short-form, easy-to-enjoy format that vividly brings to life the laid-back world and diverse characters of the source material. The unique animation movements and production techniques of TV anime will further enhance the characters' cuteness and humor.

Dainippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) has developed a new animation production workflow that significantly reduces time and cost compared to traditional methods. Launched in August 2022, it targets publishers with manga IPs and companies with character-based content. The initiative, named 'Light Anime®', aims to meet consumer demand for more accessible, faster, and diverse anime content by enabling timely, low-cost anime production.
