CPHI Japan 2027 (24th Edition) Announcement

The pharmaceutical industry continues to face challenges such as the high cost of new drug development, stagnation in development capabilities, stable supply and quality centered on generics, building stable supply chains for active pharmaceutical ingredients, and drug lag/loss.

Furthermore, as DX utilization is being promoted globally from drug discovery to sales, it is urgent to promote its introduction and effective use within each company and department.

CPHI Japan has recently shifted from being an exhibition for raw materials to an event covering pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing, and is actively pursuing modalities such as intermediate molecules, biologics, and regenerative medicine.

For the next event, to promote drug discovery capabilities, which the government has designated as a growth strategy, a new 'Drug Discovery Innovation Zone' will be established, featuring symposia and specialized exhibition areas.

In addition, in collaboration with 'Pharmapack,' held in Europe and Asia, the 'Packaging/DDS Zone,' themed around primary packaging and drug delivery systems (DDS), will be significantly renewed, supporting innovative formulation development through exhibitions, specialized seminars, and awards.

The overall exhibition scale will span all 4 halls, covering over 30,000 square meters, with approximately 900 companies from over 30 countries and regions expected to exhibit, making it the largest scale ever. Approximately 300 seminars, the main program of the exhibition, are scheduled to be held over three days.
